We are proud to share the new brochure on our SIPEX range of de-aromatised hydrocarbon oils for use in the manufacture of ammonium nitrate explosives.

We have been promoting the use of these high purity oils in explosive formulations for several years as they offer excellent technical performance whilst substantially reducing health, safety and environmental risks compared to the use of traditional diesel or fuel oils.

What’s more, to help our customers to easily improve sustainability and reduce carbon footprint of their explosive formulations, SIP has added SIPEX 4 ECO and SIPEX 9 ECO to this range. These high quality re-refined oils match the technical performance of virgin mineral oils with the benefit of up to an 80% reduction in carbon emissions.
